(In honor of Women’s History Month)
Nobel Peace Prize winner and world renowned humanitarian, Mother Teresa was one of the most outstanding examples of altruism and servant leadership in the history of the human race. She provided the world with a treasure trove of wisdom. Here are my ten favorite gems from Mother Teresa.
10. Everybody today seems to be in such a terrible rush, anxious for greater developments and greater riches and so on, so that children have very little time for their parents, parents have very little time for each other, and in the home begins the disruption of peace of the world.

8. Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.
7. Be faithful in small things because it is in them that your strength lies.
6. I do not pray for success, I ask for faithfulness.
5. Do not wait for leaders; do it alone, person to person.
4. One of the greatest diseases is to be nobody to anybody.
3. If I look at the mass, I will never act. If I look at the one, I will.
2. I know God will not give me anything I can't handle. I just wish that He didn't trust me so much.
1. We have done so much, for so long, with so little, we are now qualified to do anything with nothing.
Honorable mention:
It is easy to love the people far away. It is not always easy to love those close to us.
I am a little pencil in the hand of a writing God who is sending a love letter to the world.
Good works are links that form a chain of love.
If you judge people, you have no time to love them.
Do not think that love, in order to be genuine, has to be extraordinary. What we need is to love without getting tired.
